Job Title: Sr Designer - Home Textiles (Bedding, Bath, Pet)


Location:Monday - Thursday onsite, Friday remote


Summary: American Exchange Group is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Designer to join our growing Home team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in textile and product design who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a wide range of home categories-including bedding, bath, pet beds, and more. This role will focus on designing a new premium licensed brand for the off price market.

You'll report to theDesign Directorand work closely with Production, Packaging, and Merchandising to support the design and development of innovative home products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create seasonal mood and trend boards in collaboration with the Design Director
  • Develop accurate artwork, repeats, and specs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Prepare design files for sampling and production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product execution matches design intent
  • Support product revisions, costing updates, and presentation materials
  • Stay on top of timelines, trends, and technical innovations in textiles
  • Contribute ideas and assist wherever needed throughout the design process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field
  • 5+ years of design experience in home or fashion/apparel
  • Proficiency inAdobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
