Alvita Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative and compassionate team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to determine their unique challenges and goals.

  • Engage in regular therapy sessions, offering individual and, where appropriate, group therapy, equipping clients with coping strategies and tools for overcoming their issues.
  • Monitor and track client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that all interventions are effectively addressing the client’s evolving needs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, to deliver integrated care and comprehensive support to clients.
  • Document all client interactions meticulously within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure up-to-date patient information is easily accessible for ongoing care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing substance abuse issues, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, and eating disorders. This diversity in client issues requires not only clinical expertise but also a deep understanding of the varying socio-cultural backgrounds from which our patients come. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a history of effective practice in mental health counseling.
