Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients to foster a safe space for discussion and growth.
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose mental health conditions based on clinical standards and client assessments.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, addressing their unique circumstances and challenges.
- Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote healing and understanding.
- Monitor client progress continuously, making adaptations to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists as needed to provide comprehensive client care.
- Document all interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in accordance with clinic policies and legal regulations.
You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clients range from children to adults, and we emphasize inclusive practices to cater to underrepresented populations. Your role will be essential in providing culturally competent care and advocating for clients to improve their overall well-being.
Qualifications- A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is required.
- A master's or doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- A solid foundation in evidence-based practices related to addiction therapy and co-occurring disorders is mandatory.
- Experience in providing counseling and therapy in a clinical setting, particularly with couples and family dynamics.
- Certifications in additional therapeutic methodologies are a plus. This may include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or trauma-informed care.
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies and online therapy platforms to effectively engage clients virtually.
