Position Overview

Brightside Therapy Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, including crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to guide treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and interventions.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison among various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain open communication lines to promote the agency's mission and adhere to contract standards.
  • Establish relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to enhance service delivery and secure new partnerships and funding sources.
  • Engage in professional development through conferences, groups, and statewide task forces related to mental health.
  • Embody the agency’s mission and values while overseeing additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with diverse client populations facing various mental health challenges, including those affected by substance abuse, trauma, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. With a commitment to individualized care, you will foster a therapeutic environment that emphasizes trust and emotional safety, which are critical for effective recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
  • Possess an Independent LMHC License issued by the state board.
  • Strong ability to maintain clinical records, prepare reports, and observe ethical practices.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team framework.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate ideas and treatment concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated judgment and capacity to make independent clinical decisions based on professional expertise.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
