Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and personable Appointment Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for prospective students, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service, answering inquiries about our Midwest Technical Institute and Delta Technical College programs and schedule campus visits. This is a remote role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for helping our students achieve their educational goals.
The Appointment Coordinator role is responsible for facilitating the potential student’s introduction to Midwest Technical Institute and Delta Technical College programs. Coordinating campus visits for students to tour the campus and begin the enrollment process.
This position will focus on the potential student’s initial experience and work closely with other internal departments to ensure that the potential student’s experience is exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Management
    1. Respond to incoming inquiries from potential students through phone, email and chat, providing detailed information about programs, campus locations and the admissions process.
    2. Provide engaged, informative and positive student experience on behalf of Midwest Technical Institute and Delta Technical College.
  2. Scheduling
    1. Coordinate and schedule on-site campus visits for prospective students, ensuring they are fully prepared and informed about their visit.
    2. Follow up with potential students who miss appointments and facilitate rescheduling.
  3. Program Guidance
    1. Answer questions related to our programs helping prospective students find the right fit for their interest and career goals.
    2. Determine interest in an offered campus program and ensure entrance qualifications are met and explain the enrollment process.
  1. Collaboration
    1. Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a seamless transition for students from initial contact to enrollment.
    2. Serve as the liaison between the potential student and campus admissions teams.
    3. Stay informed about the departmental activities and interests, campus specific information, scholarship opportunities, programmatic updates and upcoming start dates.
  2. Customer Service
    1. Provide exceptional support to prospective students, addressing concerns and creating a welcoming environment.
    2. Find viable solutions for potential students to overcome obstacles and maintain positive experiences for inquiries.
  3. Feedback Gathering
    1. Collect and report feedback from prospective students to improve processes and address common inquiries.
    2. Provide information to the Director of Admissions and Admissions Operations teams regarding current trends, potential admissions pitfalls and other pertinent information.
  4. Other Duties as Assigned
    1. As part of the Appointment Coordinator role, employees may be asked to perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the department or organization. Flexibility and a willingness to take on diverse tasks is essential.

Qualifications:
Education amp; Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 2 Years of related work experience required
  • Training in Customer Service or Telecommunications preferred

Compensation amp; Benefits:
