Title: Product Manager

Location: Remote - Applicants must be located in the Pacific Time Zone (PST)

Type: 6-9 month contract


Seeking a seasoned Product Manager with a background in both travel operations and IT product leadership to oversee the complete overhaul of a travel booking and concierge service platform. This contract role focuses on ensuring a successful implementation of a new vendor-led solution by managing vendor collaboration, aligning internal stakeholders, and ensuring the end product meets functional and integration goals.


Your role:

  • Oversee the full product lifecycle for a modernized travel platform, from requirements through implementation.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal teams and third-party vendors during execution of an off-the-shelf platform rollout.
  • Lead vendor accountability throughout the RFP, selection, and implementation phases.
  • Evaluate existing system workflows and identify opportunities for improvement across booking, payment, inventory, and customer service.
  • Ensure seamless integration with airline booking systems, loyalty programs, accounting platforms, and banking/payment systems.
  • Represent the business needs of a high-touch travel experience platform, including support for executive concierge-level services.
  • Align cross-functional input from operations, IT, and business leaders to ensure the platform supports scalable and sustainable workflows.
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, and vendor deliverables to ensure the solution delivers as expected.
  • Collaborate on system testing, configuration, and rollout strategy to minimize operational disruption.


What you’ve got:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the travel or hospitality industry (required).
  • Strong familiarity with technology platforms used in travel booking, loyalty, airline reservation systems, and concierge services.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring high-quality delivery of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions.
  • Understanding of API capabilities and common system integration points (no coding required).
  • Knowledge of payment processing tools and integrations such as PayPal and banking platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex cross-functional projects with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with an ability to keep deliverables on track.
  • Familiarity with RFP processes and vendor contract oversight is preferred.
