Northfield Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance personal growth and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals, ensuring they align with clients’ values and aspirations, and actively track their progress through regular evaluations.
  • Deliver teletherapy sessions for clients who may struggle with mobility or mobility restrictions, ensuring continuity of care and accessibility.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to refine clinical skills and stay informed about contemporary trends in therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals facing a range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. As an LMFT, you will work with diverse populations, including couples, children, teens, and families, and may have the opportunity to focus on serving clients from various ethnic backgrounds, including people of color and the LGBTQIA community. Your role will significantly contribute to creating safe spaces for clients to express their challenges and work toward healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Current state-issued LMFT license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including couples, children, and families, is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with a commitment to cultural competence and accessibility for all clients will be prioritized.
