This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build relationships without in-person meetings. Many positions offer flexible work arrangements, allowing professionals to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Success in this field often depends on meeting sales targets, understanding the competitive landscape, and staying updated on industry trends.

To excel in Remote Technology Sales, you need a solid grasp of consultative sales techniques, knowledge of technology products, and a proven sales track record, often backed by a bachelor's degree. Familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce), video conferencing platforms, and relevant sales certifications (such as Certified Inside Sales Professional) is highly valued. Outstanding communication, self-motivation, and time management skills help remote tech sales professionals build relationships and work independently. These abilities are vital for effectively engaging clients, managing a sales pipeline remotely, and driving consistent business growth in a competitive technology market.

What are typical challenges faced by professionals in remote technology sales, and how can they be overcome?

Remote technology sales professionals often face challenges such as building rapport virtually, managing time zones with clients, and staying motivated without an in-person team environment. To overcome these hurdles, it's important to master virtual communication tools, establish a clear daily routine, and proactively seek out collaboration with colleagues through online meetings or chat platforms. Consistent follow-up and a strong online presence can also help foster trust with clients. Many organizations offer training, mentoring, and regular team check-ins to support remote sales staff. Job description

100% remote and commission-only
Candidates must be located in the U.S. or in Canada

We’re seeking experienced, self-driven sales professionals to help expand our portfolio of business-to-business technology and professional services. This is a commission-only role built for individuals who value independence, prefer outcome-based work over micromanagement, and want uncapped earning potential while working remotely.
In this role, you’ll identify and engage prospective clients, build relationships with decision-makers, and introduce solutions that support modern business operations, technology, and digital transformation. You’ll manage your own pipeline, control your schedule, and operate independently, with support available when needed.
What You’ll Do
  • Prospect and sell B2B technology and professional services to small and mid-sized organizations.
  • Build and manage your sales pipeline from initial outreach through close.
  • Communicate effectively with business owners, executives, and technical stakeholders.
  • Present solutions that address real operational and technical challenges.
  • Work independently while collaborating with internal teams as appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience selling B2B services, technology solutions, or professional services.
  • Comfortable in a commission-only, performance-driven environment.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with technology-focused business environments is a plus.
What We Offer
  • Fully remote work.
  • Flexible schedule with control over how and when you work.
  • No micromanagement and no activity-based quotas—results matter most.
  • Uncapped commission with meaningful earning potential.
  • Opportunity to sell in-demand solutions to business clients.
