Site Development Project Manager
Hillpointe is a vertically integrated multi-family development designer and builder, with in-house engineering and construction teams that manage developments through the complete project life cycle (from initial site assessment to final construction completion). As part of the Hillpointe model, the Site Development Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing the site development and construction close-out phases of development for multiple projects. The Site Development Project Manager will collaborate with both the construction team in the field and the engineering teams to ensure timely construction of projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Site Development and Vertical Construction teams and Engineering Services to identify timelines, goals, needs and objectives

  • Assist with construction-related needs, such as coordinating any issues in the field with the engineer, working with local jurisdictions for site inspections or revisions, and record keeping of relevant documentation
  • Understand and coordinate technical documents related to construction, such as current drawings, shop drawings, approved documents, photos, inspection reports, submittals, code requirements, and as-built drawings, and be able to integrate into relevant software, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Manage scheduling meetings related to construction milestones, such as pre-construction meetings, site development kick-off meetings, progress meetings, etc.
  • Work with a variety of personnel to ensure project completion, including engineers, designers, surveyors, contractors, subcontractors, and local jurisdiction site inspectors and reviewers
  • Track all projects in Development and be able to compile data, communicate, and report findings in an organized manner
  • Track the status of all water meters (temporary, permanent, and irrigation) and ensure all meters are operational and closed when appropriate
  • Coordination/tracking of foundation surveys, storm and utility as-built surveys, and as-built ALTA surveys throughout the construction phase of all projects
  • Attend pre-construction meetings as needed, provide initial BMP inspections as required, and coordinate initial setup of NPDES/SWPPP monitoring
  • Assist the site development contractor to resolve any construction related problems that arise on projects
  • Perform other duties as directed by Director of Development Services.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, technical schooling, or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience > 5 years in construction, civil engineering, surveying, and/or land development
  • Professional Engineering Licensure preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in key communication software, such as Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction software, such as AutoDesk or BIM360, is preferred but not required
  • Driver's License required
