This role is completely remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your home. By leveraging video chat technology, you can create a safe and private environment for your clients. • Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing, helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.
• Foster a trusting environment to encourage clients to share their thoughts and emotions, promoting personal insight and growth.
• Advocate for client needs, assisting in identifying personal goals and devising tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to assess clients’ mental states and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by our protocol, while minimizing administrative burdens.

You will mainly work with pre-screened clients who present with low acuity levels. This ensures that you can focus on delivering effective care without the added pressure of high-stakes emergencies, allowing for a more stable and manageable caseload. Our clients typically include individuals coping with life adjustments, anxiety, depression, and other common mental health issues.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• An independent state-issued license such as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Capacity to perform professional evaluations, establish treatment plans, and make informed recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Proficient with technology, particularly video conferencing tools and digital documentation systems.

• Previous experience in a telehealth or remote counseling role is highly desirable but not required.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy are beneficial.
