We’re seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist with a strong background in IT and Professional Services procurement and category management to lead fast-cycle sourcing events, negotiate commercial/contract terms, and optimize total cost of ownership across professional services, software, cloud, hardware, and IT services. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
 • Category Strategy: Own assigned Professional services and IT spend categories (e.g., Consulting, SaaS, Cloud/Infrastructure, End-User Devices, Managed Services); assess market dynamics, benchmarks, and savings levers; build and execute sourcing strategies aligned to stakeholder goals.
 • Sourcing Execution: Run end-to-end RFI/RFP/RFQ cycles (requirements, scoring, supplier Q&A, demos, commercial analysis), and down-select vendors.
 • Negotiations: Lead commercial and contractual negotiations (pricing, rate cards, milestones, SLAs, service credits, EULA terms, data privacy, security exhibits, and renewals).
 • Contracting & Risk: Partner with Legal/InfoSec/Privacy to finalize MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, SLAs, and ensure compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable).
 • Financial Outcomes: Deliver measurable savings, cost avoidance, and improved TCO; validate and document benefits with Finance (should-cost models, benchmarking, and clean-sheeting where relevant).
 • Supplier Management: Execute vendor due diligence, performance scorecards, QBRs, and corrective action plans; support rapid supplier onboarding.
 • Renewals & Demand Management: Rationalize licenses, right-size entitlements, and avoid shelf-ware; optimize term lengths, uplift caps, and renewals calendars.
 • Stakeholder Partnership: Translate business needs into sourcing plans; facilitate decision meetings; provide clear market intel and options trade-offs.
 • Data & Tools: Maintain sourcing pipeline, dashboards, and contract repositories; ensure clean data for audit and reporting.
Required Qualifications
 • 3+ years of IT sourcing/ Professional services sourcing experience with demonstrated category management ownership.
 • Proven success running competitive events and negotiating complex IT agreements (SaaS, cloud/IaaS, software licenses, managed services, hardware).
 • Strong command of contract constructs (MSA/SOW, SLAs/service credits, termination, indemnities, liability caps, audit, data privacy/security, IP).
 • Comfort with supplier risk and compliance reviews in partnership with Legal/InfoSec/Privacy.
 • Data-driven: pricing analysis, TCO, scenario modeling, and savings/benefits tracking.
