As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and challenges, creating personalized treatment plans crafted around their unique situations.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to suit each client’s preferences and treatment preferences.
• Documenting clinical observations and patient progress accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure continuous, comprehensive care for all patients.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and providing peer support in team meetings, enhancing the collective expertise of our treatment staff.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.
• Remaining current with ongoing research in mental health treatment methodologies to integrate new approaches into clinical practice.

You will primarily work with clients facing various mental health challenges related to addiction and recovery. This involves understanding complex patient dynamics, providing empathetic support, and crafting strategies that promote long-term wellness and stability. Experience with diverse populations, including individuals from varying socio-economic backgrounds, will be pivotal to your success in this role.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• Demonstrated expertise with at least three years of experience in a clinical environment, focusing on the provision of psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a strong understanding of solution-focused treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective engagement with clients and professional colleagues.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to address complex client needs creatively.

• Previous experience working in detox settings or with substance abuse clients is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and experience with teletherapy practices, as needed.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health.
