This position is a remote opportunity based in Gresham, Oregon, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home office. • Conduct engaging remote therapy sessions with clients through our secure online platform, ensuring comfort and confidentiality throughout the interactions.
• Assess individual client needs through thorough evaluations and develop customized treatment plans aimed at achieving their mental health goals.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date clinical records in alignment with legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and support staff when needed, providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care tailored to each client's requirements.
• Uphold ethical standards and legal guidelines in all aspects of mental health service delivery to foster client trust and safety.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Oceanic Trauma Counseling, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients seek assistance for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a vital role in facilitating therapeutic healing, guiding clients toward resilience and improved mental health.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current state licensure as a mental health therapist, including but not limited to: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual therapy in a remote or outpatient context.
• Proficiency with technology and comfort in conducting therapy sessions through digital platforms.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients empathetically and effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.

• Experience with trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Previous experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system to manage patient data and documentation efficiently.
• Track record of successfully engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds to promote inclusivity and understanding within therapeutic practices.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
