You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Administering and maintaining a diverse fleet of ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical devices, ensuring peak operational performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Providing hands-on, phone, and remote technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Designing, building, and maintaining fully functional Zoom Room systems and administering the organization's Zoom-based phone system.
  • Providing administration and support for a variety of critical Line of Business (LOB) applications.
  • Managing and completing diverse IT projects within the organization.
  • Creating and maintaining user-friendly technical documentation and providing team member training on software applications to maximize user proficiency.
  • Leveraging our RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) for proactive monitoring, patch management, remote access, and automated maintenance across all endpoints to maximize system uptime.
  • Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory using our asset management tools to track hardware and software licenses across all Vance Thompson Vision locations.
  • Developing and implementing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate repetitive IT tasks, streamline operations, and enhance user experience.
  • Evaluating, recommending, and integrating emerging AI-powered tools, to optimize organization-wide business processes, improve service delivery efficiency, and enhance efficiency across all departments.
  • Offering input and recommendations on the implementation of new technologies.

You Have:

  • An associates’ degree in information technology or equivalent field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in IT support
  • The ability to travel between Bozeman and Billings Montana
