This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with clients through virtual sessions. As an LCPC at Sunny Square, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting engaging group therapy sessions that facilitate connection, support, and sharing among clients.
• Providing one-on-one individualized therapy, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to design personalized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and address their specific needs.
• Monitoring client progress and outcomes through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective treatment.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring coordinated care and consultation on complex cases to optimize client outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on a demographic of young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing mental health challenges. This age group often faces unique developmental transitions and pressures, making tailored interventions crucial. You will assist clients in managing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, helping them to build resilience and foster recovery.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Current Illinois licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
• Strong background in mental health treatment, with skills in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

While a strong clinical foundation is essential, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in providing services to adolescents and young adults.
• Familiarity with holistic or integrative therapy approaches.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for teletherapy and electronic health record management.

Sunny Square Family Guidance Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to this attractive compensation, we provide:
