Relationship Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Coral Springs, Florida. This role operates within a remote work setting, supporting a detox center that facilitates early stages of recovery. As an LCSW, you will work closely with a collaborative team, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director, to maintain a therapeutic environment that promotes long-term recovery for our clients. Your contributions will be vital in establishing routines and ensuring the overall success of treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for various critical tasks, including:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of client counseling needs, ensuring accurate identification and understanding of their unique challenges.
  • Evaluating clients for substance abuse diagnoses based on DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria and determining the appropriate level of care using ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) recommendations.
  • Preparing and implementing individualized substance abuse counseling treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s needs.
  • Developing comprehensive discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions to appropriate levels of ongoing care.
  • Documenting all counseling sessions, client assessments, and follow-up procedures in clinical records to maintain accurate and organized client information.
  • Managing a caseload that includes thorough case management and regular updates via utilization reviews, ensuring that all treatment planning and clinical charting requirements are met.
  • Coordinating support services for clients and their families, keeping meticulous records of these interactions in clinical documentation.
  • Engaging with referral sources such as legal representatives, educational institutions, and employers to facilitate client progress and access to services.
  • Utilizing a holistic, multi-disciplinary team approach to develop interventions for crisis-oriented issues affecting your assigned clients.
