• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to evaluate their emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, using evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling sessions to students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family dynamics.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers and parents to improve understanding of mental health issues and effective coping strategies for students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, school psychologists, and administrators, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for students.
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as necessary, based on feedback and assessments, to foster continuous improvement.
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians, offering support and resources while ensuring they remain involved in their child’s care.
• Document all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Stay updated on current best practices, ethical standards, and policies surrounding school mental health and social work.

This role focuses on supporting a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary to high school, who may face various challenges, including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and socio-economic barriers. Your expertise will directly influence their academic success, social development, and overall quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, specifically within educational, community, or mental health settings.
• In-depth understanding of child development, mental health challenges, and available community resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other technology to document and track client interactions.

• Experience working with adolescents and understanding issues related to youth mental health.
• Familiarity with school policies, regulations, and educational frameworks.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
