In your role as a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide individual counseling sessions via secure video chat technology to adults experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties.
• Conduct comprehensive client screenings to ensure that only stable, low-acuity individuals have access to your therapeutic services.
• Encourage open dialogue by creating a safe space for clients to express their emotions, explore their experiences, and gain insight into their behavioral patterns.
• Assess and diagnose various mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, and stress-related conditions.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and a solution-oriented approach.
• Monitor client progress against established treatment goals and adapt interventions as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies and skills that they can incorporate into their lives to foster resilience and emotional stability.

Your primary client population will consist of adults seeking therapeutic support through online platforms. These individuals may be dealing with a range of mental health issues, from mild to moderate psychological distress, requiring compassionate guidance and intervention. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their challenges and work towards improved mental wellness.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid license as a mental health professional, including one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth technology to facilitate remote counseling sessions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients in a virtual setting.

While all experienced candidates are welcome, preference will be given to those with:

• Experience in providing therapy in a remote or telehealth context.
• Specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based approaches.
• A track record of successfully adapting treatment plans based on client feedback and outcomes.
