This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to the mental well-being of students. You will interact virtually with clients, employing telehealth platforms that facilitate secure and effective communication. This role supports a diverse student population, predominantly from local schools in Chula Vista, California, highlighting the importance of culturally relevant and sensitive care.

• Conduct comprehensive virtual psychosocial assessments to identify students’ strengths, limitations, and needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that cater to individual client circumstances, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at social skills development, emotional regulation, and peer support.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare providers to create a consistent support network for students.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them to necessary community resources and support services, enhancing their access to well-rounded care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to electronic health record (EHR) protocols.
• Regularly participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education workshops to advance clinical skills and knowledge.

Your clientele will primarily consist of school-aged children and adolescents, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Understanding the unique dynamics of school environments, you will tailor your interventions to support both academic and emotional success, thus contributing to the overall resilience of each student.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work services, especially in school or community settings.
• Proven expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for establishing rapport with diverse student populations and their families.
• A solid commitment to cultural competence and ethical practice in social work.

• Experience working within educational systems or with youth mental health initiatives is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Prior involvement with multidisciplinary teams, particularly in a remote setting.

• Attractive compensation ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
