• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each student’s mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies.
• Implement individualized behavior management strategies tailored to support students' progress and engagement in their academic environment.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, addressing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school administrators, and parents to create a comprehensive support network for each student.
• Provide educational workshops for families designed to equip them with tools and knowledge to support their child’s mental health journey.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress reports to comply with state regulations and organizational standards.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying life circumstances, including those dealing with trauma, family issues, and academic stressors. Your work will provide vital support in shaping healthier coping strategies and promoting emotional resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• An active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain high-quality documentation.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote counseling and therapy.
• Background in crisis intervention and behavioral management in a school environment.
