About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Pension Software Testing Analyst to support internal pension administration systems by leading and executing software testing activities, with a strong focus on test automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement.

The Senior Pension Software Testing Analyst will play a key role in strengthening automated testing capabilities, supporting both manual and automated testing as required, mentoring team members, and helping establish a robust testing foundation as the team continues its transition toward quality engineering practices.

As the Newest Member of our Team, You'll:

  • Review and assess defects and enhancement requests and support impact analysis for pension system changes
  • Plan, design, and execute testing for pension system defects, enhancements, and integrations with external systems
  • Design, document, and maintain the testing environment, including data refreshes, maintenance schedules, and software updates
  • Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and regression test suites, primarily using Python and BDD approaches
  • Support the team's transition toward quality engineering by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and improving testing practices
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing activities
  • Execute both automated and manual testing as required to ensure system quality and reliability
  • Work closely with developers, business systems analysts, and technical leads to clarify requirements and validate delivered changes
  • Support CI/CD test pipeline setup, version control, and automation integration
  • Maintain comprehensive regression coverage across core pension system processes and calculations

To Succeed, You Bring:

  • A university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing environments, with a strong emphasis on test automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, BDD testing, SQL, and ETL concepts
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated regression testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern testing practices
  • Experience working with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Exposure to tools such as Ranorex, MicroFocus/Borland Silk Test Suite, jUnit, Unified Functional Testing (HP), or similar platforms
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, mentor others, and explain complex concepts clearly
  • A proactive, selfstarter mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in an agile, remote, and deadlinedriven environment

The target hiring salary for this position is $96,800.00- $113,800.00. Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
