Job Description

Forbes Advisor is looking for a full-time Digital Sales Representative. The Digital Sales Representative (DSR) will be responsible for supporting the sales team in selling, planning, executing, and managing digital advertising programs such as: custom content sponsorships, display advertising, and social across Forbes Advisor customer base.

The DSR will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests pertaining to their digital programs, which includes facilitating client presentations, preparing proposals, managing day-to-day execution of marketing programs, and curating overall strategy for account revenue growth with clients cross vertically.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Digital Sales Manager in achieving the revenue and growth targets across advertiser partnerships.   
  • Work collaboratively with the vertical managers and commercial stakeholders to identify areas for commercial growth across a portfolio of advertiser partners and properties.
  • Set, meet and exceed aggressive revenue goals
  • Work with marketing, pricing and sales to create strategic media plans and negotiate contract proposals.
  • Generate net-new business and grow established partnerships
  • Manage collection of contracts, content objectives, creative assets, tracking and ad verification from clients / agency contacts and coordinate with vertical Director.
  • Responsible for full funnel sales cycles inclusive of onboarding documentation, order creation, campaign management, partnership execution, billing, and client growth relations.
  • Oversee all program implementation by developing and tracking client project plans.
  • Project, manage, and coordinate with internal teams cross vertically for all necessary elements for campaign execution.
  • Remain current on products and processes in a multi-product environment.
  • Provide strategic advice to increase each client’s ROI.
  • Develop, maintain and extend relationships with existing and net-new clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ Years of experience with sales, project management and/or account management
  • Strong track record of building and cultivating relationships with partners across a range of verticals
  • Proven ability to work independently with a problem – solving aptitude and contribute to the team environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Extremely detail oriented, excels at time management, prioritization, and handling multiple tasks at once
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Familiarity in using Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager is preferred.
