As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at New Era Psychological Center, you will work with a diverse client population facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. • A current and valid license in the state of New York as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• A compassionate demeanor with a non-judgmental approach to clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Strong time-management abilities, allowing for the effective handling of a manageable caseload and associated administrative tasks.

• Previous experience in private practice or telehealth settings is highly desirable.

• Experience working with specific client populations, particularly those dealing with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.
