• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized therapeutic treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their goals and preferred approaches to ensure a meaningful therapeutic alliance.
• Implement proven therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Provide clients and their families with essential education regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to promote overall mental well-being.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring privacy for all clients.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case consultations to foster continuous improvement.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and support clients in overcoming societal stigma related to mental health challenges.

Your role will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, as well as those affected by trauma-related issues like domestic abuse and homelessness. You will provide empathetic support and guidance, helping clients navigate their challenges and work toward recovery.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
• A high level of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients, recognizing and valuing their unique experiences.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads effectively while attending to detailed documentation and administrative tasks.

• The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
