This position will encompass both client interaction and documentation management within secure electronic health record systems.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients to identify their individual mental health challenges and strengths.
• Providing tailored individual and group therapy sessions to address critical issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitating therapeutic groups, focusing on topics such as relapse prevention, coping strategies, and life skills enhancement.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and monitor client progress.
• Offering crisis intervention services and conducting risk assessments to ensure client safety.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation pertaining to client care, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engaging with families and community resources to support clients’ mental health recovery and reintegration efforts.

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse population of individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including those dealing with the ramifications of trauma, substance abuse, and other socio-economic barriers. Many clients are navigating complex life circumstances that necessitate a compassionate, understanding, and trauma-informed approach to their care. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, the LCSW will help empower clients to achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and effective therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional assessment, crisis intervention, and boundary-setting skills.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and strategies to support clients in a diverse environment.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would enhance a candidate's application:

• Previous experience working in a telehealth capacity or with teletherapy platforms.
• Experience in a community health or outpatient setting, particularly with mentally ill populations.
• An understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with a history of incarceration or stressors associated with social justice issues.
