This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while facilitating care for clients at a Detox Center. • Engage with assigned clients both remotely and within community settings, focusing on those affected by major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.
• Develop and maintain positive rapport with clients, fostering a trust-based relationship that empowers them in their recovery journey.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments to identify appropriate care pathways and interventions.
• Create and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of clients, coordinating with family members and healthcare providers as necessary.
• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative discussions to enhance team effectiveness and overall patient outcomes.
• Provide focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services that are adaptable to different client situations and evolving needs.
• Maintain ethical standards and professional guidelines in every aspect of service delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Manage a caseload that includes documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and client progress reports, ensuring timely completion of all administrative tasks.
• Be available for on-call coverage as necessary, providing crisis intervention and support to clients outside regular hours as assigned.
• Actively participate in committees and team initiatives aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of our services.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse range of clients dealing with severe emotional issues, addiction, and recovery processes at the Detox Center. This role plays a vital part in addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals from underprivileged backgrounds, emphasizing culturally competent care and individualized support plans.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Must hold a current LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in social work is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and within diverse teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional guidelines.

• Experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integrated care approaches and a strong understanding of community resources.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and recovery.
