One common challenge for remote Tarot card readers is establishing a strong connection with clients without in-person cues, which can make building trust and interpreting subtle reactions more difficult. To address this, many readers develop excellent communication skills, use video calls to enhance non-verbal interaction, and create a welcoming virtual environment. Ongoing professional development, such as attending online workshops or joining reader communities, also helps in staying updated and overcoming these challenges.

These readers use their knowledge of tarot symbolism and intuition to provide insights, guidance, or answers to clients' questions about life, relationships, careers, and more. Remote tarot readings are often convenient and accessible for clients who prefer privacy or cannot meet in person. Many remote readers also offer recordings or written summaries of the session for clients to review. The accuracy and effectiveness of a remote reading depend on the reader's skill and the client's openness.

Job description

Just Right Reader is a forward-thinking curriculum provider committed to advancing literacy for students from Birth through 12th Grade. Our comprehensive resources are designed to support all learners, including upper-grade students requiring additional intervention to develop foundational skills. Grounded in the Science of Reading, our high-quality materials and tools equip educators with the support they need to accelerate achievement and foster lifelong readers.
The Role: Partnerships Director
This role is an opportunity for a respected Hawaii educator or district leader to extend their impact beyond one campus and help advance literacy across the islands. Just Right Reader is looking for someone who understands the realities of Hawaii schools: close-knit communities, diverse language backgrounds, island-by-island context, and the importance of trust-based relationships.
For Hawaii-based education leaders, this is a unique opportunity to advance literacy while staying connected to the communities you know and care about. Just Right Reader is looking for a trusted former school or district leader who understands Hawaii's multilingual, multicultural classrooms and the importance of relationship-centered partnership. In this role, you will work with current school and district leaders to connect local literacy priorities with joyful, evidence-based decodable reading resources grounded in the Science of Reading. This is a chance to move from leading literacy work in one school or district to helping expand access for students across Hawaii.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES TRAVEL WITHIN THE DESIGNATED REGION
What You'll Do:
  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation through signed agreement
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with school and district leaders
  • Actively generate new opportunities by identifying leads, making outreach, and developing a robust pipeline
  • Deeply understand local literacy priorities, funding sources, and district goals to position Just Right Reader as the right solution
  • Represent Just Right Reader at regional conferences, events, and meetings with decision-makers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful long-term implementation
  • Consistently meet or exceed your sales goals for district growth and product adoption

What You Bring:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a school or district leader (such as principal, assistant principal, curriculum director, or instructional coach)
  • Strong understanding of foundational literacy and the science of reading
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and contribute to a collaborative team
  • Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and working with data to guide decisions
  • A natural drive to sell - this can mean you've closed deals in education, pitched programs to your district, or even worked retail in college. You're energized by the challenge of getting to "yes" and aren't afraid to own a sales quota

Why Join Us:
At Just Right Reader, we're transforming how children learn to read. You'll be part of a passionate, growing team committed to educational equity, literacy innovation, and joyful learning.
Perks and Benefits:
  • Fully remote role, with occasional travel to schools, district offices, and conferences
  • Company expense card and home office stipend
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Annual $500 childcare credit plus Urbansitter membership
  • A mission-driven team that is passionate about literacy

Just Right Reader will run background checks after accepted offer letter on all hires.
