Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account both psychiatric and medical conditions impacting patients’ mental wellness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans integrating both psychological and medical care approaches.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to address each patient's unique needs, employing evidence-based interventions that foster growth and healing.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to ensure seamless care coordination and the best possible treatment outcomes for patients.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies when needed.
  • Educate patients about the relationship between mental health and physical well-being, equipping them with the knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with local legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record systems.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and case reviews to contribute to comprehensive care strategies and improved patient outcomes.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of integrated care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Beyond Mind, our target demographic is comprised of individuals facing complex mental health issues alongside co-occurring medical challenges. We work with a diverse patient population, including those struggling with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use issues. Our therapists are dedicated to providing tailored therapeutic support that empowers individuals to navigate their unique life experiences.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing mental health needs for individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a focus on patient empowerment.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other technology necessary for effective therapeutic practices.
  • A collaborative spirit and a strong desire to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in integrated care settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
  • Training or certifications in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT or DBT.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
