Job description

Overview Only candidates with their tow truck will be considered. Prior experience is required. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Duty Tow Truck Driver to provide roadside assistance for disabled vehicles.

The successful candidate will operate a light-duty tow truck to assist with vehicle recovery, tyre changes, jump-starts, lockouts, and other basic roadside services. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of safe towing practices and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients in need of roadside assistance. Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app.

Proficiency in navigating mobile applications, digital platforms, and app-based workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication. Compensation Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $58,240 per year, based on experience and availability. Responsibilities Operate a light-duty tow truck to provide roadside assistance for cars and trucks.

Perform vehicle recovery, tyre changes, jump-starts, lockouts, and other basic roadside services. Ensure all towing operations follow safe towing practices and proper procedures. Interact with clients professionally, providing excellent customer service during assistance calls.

Respond quickly and efficiently to service requests, maintaining composure and attention to detail under pressure. Keep the tow truck clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Accurately record service call details, vehicle conditions, and activities.

Assist with basic troubleshooting of disabled vehicles when possible. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and traffic laws at all times. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to operate a light-duty tow truck in various weather and traffic conditions. Knowledge of safe towing practices and vehicle handling procedures.

Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle repairs and troubleshooting. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle recovery or towing services. Experience in providing roadside assistance, including tyre changes, jump-starts, and lockouts.

Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service requests. Availability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
