POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Senior .NET Full Stack Developer will serve as a key technical resource responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications across the Galaxy Systems, Enterprise Application Systems, and Vendor Portal Systems workstreams. This role requires full lifecycle development experience, including requirements of understanding, architecture design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. The developer will work closely with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, PMs, and DOE stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions in alignment with DOE standards and security frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and enhance .NET-based applications across multiple DOE systems (Galaxy, Data Systems, Compliance Systems)
  • Build APIs, microservices, integrations, and automated workflows to modernize existing processes.
  • Implement end-to-end development activities using Agile methodologies and participate in multi-sprint delivery cycles.
  • Create and maintain application architecture, reusable components, frameworks, and coding standards.
  • Collaborate in requirements analysis, technical design sessions, and sprint planning.
  • Perform unit, integration, and functional testing, preparing test plans, and remediating issues.
  • Support secure application development by applying DOE cybersecurity protocols, encryption, authentication, and data validation requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring application availability and performance.
  • Develop system documentation, deployment guides, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience in Microsoft .NET environments
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (master's preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale enterprise applications, preferably in government or public sector environments.
  • Expertise in .Net Core, SQL Server, API, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React JS, CRM (Salesforce.com), DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, Azure Data Factory, & related Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile frameworks, and DevOps toolchains
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to interpret complex business rules and translate into scalable solutions
  • Adaptability to shifting project priorities in multi-workstream environments
