Requirement - Grafana Dashboard Developer

Location- 100% Remote

Contract W2

Role Overview

We are seeking aย highly skilled Grafana Dashboard Developerย to design and deliverย world-class, real-time data visualization experiences.

This role is focused on transforming complex data into intuitive dashboards that drive decision-making at scale. The ideal candidate bringsย deep, hands-on Grafana expertiseย and can rapidly move fromย user story โ†’ production-ready dashboardย while maintaining high standards for performance, usability, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and developย advanced Grafana dashboardsย that translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
  • Buildย real-time dashboardsย integrating multiple data sources (Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Kusto, etc.)
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate dashboards based on evolving requirements
  • Translateย user stories into production-grade visualizations
  • Optimize dashboards forย performance, scalability, and usability
  • Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes
  • Establish and follow best practices forย dashboard design, structure, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

  • 2โ€“5 years of hands-on Grafana experience (mandatory)
  • Proven experience buildingย complex, multi-panel dashboards in production environments
  • Strong expertise inย data visualization and storytelling with data
  • Experience working withย real-time data and multiple data sources
  • Proficiency withย query languagesย (KQL, PromQL, SQL, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering dashboardsย end-to-end from requirements โ†’ deployment
  • Strong communication skills working across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withย Azure Managed Grafanaย or cloud-based observability platforms
  • Familiarity withย SLI/SLO dashboards, telemetry, and monitoring systems
  • Experience withย CI/CD or dashboards-as-code frameworks

What Sets This Role Apart

  • This isย not a basic dashboard role
  • We are looking for candidates who:
    • Haveย deep Grafana expertise (not AI-only experience)
    • Canย design dashboards that tell a story, not just display data
    • Operate withย speed, ownership, and craftsmanship
    • Use AI as anย accelerator, not a substitute for technical skill
