Job Summary
Newberry Group seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Mission Area Management (MAM) Portfolio Analyst to support our customer at Scott Air Force Base, in O’Fallon, IL. The MAM Portfolio Analyst provides enterprise-level planning, coordination, and execution of mission assurance activities across multiple programs and operational domains. This role is essential in ensuring the resilience and continuity of transportation operations supporting national defense objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
The MAM Portfolio Analyst will serve as a cross-functional integrator, supporting program managers, engineers, and financial analysts in the development and sustainment of mission-critical capabilities.
Location 
O’Fallon, IL
Hybrid role  (mostly remote; however, must have the ability to commute to Scott Air Force Base for occasional in-person meetings)
Clearance/Certifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Management
    • Analyze and track requirements across diverse mission areas (programmatic, technical, cyber).
    • Identify interdependencies and assess impacts on schedules, budgets, and operational outcomes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements with strategic objectives.
  • Budgeting Support
    • Assist PMs and TCJ8 financial teams in developing, reviewing, and managing program budgets.
    • Provide input on cost estimates, funding profiles, and financial planning documentation.
    • Monitor budget execution and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Technical Awareness
    • Maintain working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and cloud-based technologies.
    • Support technical teams by translating mission assurance needs into actionable requirements.
    • Participate in risk assessments and resilience planning initiatives.
  • General Administrative Proficiency
    • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to develop reports, presentations, and tracking tools.
    • Maintain documentation and support briefings for senior leadership.
