Summary

Lead the future of HR technology at Perdue. As the Senior Manager of Human Resources Technology, you will guide the strategy, stability, and evolution of our SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem while leading a highperforming technical team. You will own health system, release management, testing discipline, and platform optimization to ensure SuccessFactors is secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This role is ideal for a handson, solutionsdriven leader who thrives at translating complex system requirements into clear processes, strong governance, and seamless user experiences across a fastmoving HR organization.

The salary range for this position is $128,000 - $192,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).  

In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.  

This position is remote. The position includes approximately 10-20% travel, which may include visits to the corporate office in Salisbury, MD, company facilities, customer or vendor locations, training sessions, meetings and industry events.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

         Oversee the technical health, configuration strategy, and roadmap for SAP SuccessFactors, with accountability for Employee Central and core platform capabilities.

         Serve as the subject matter expert for Employee Central design, configuration standards, data model integrity, workflows, security, and integrations, including making system updates as appropriate.

         Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Shared Services, IT, Finance, and external vendors to translate business needs into sustainable system solutions.

         Ensure system decisions align with Perdue's HR and IT operating model, data governance standards, and enterprise architecture.

         Lead planning and execution for SAP SuccessFactors semiannual releases, including impact assessment, change intake, sandbox validation, regression testing, production readiness, and golive support.

         Establish and enforce a repeatable release management framework ensuring changes are tested, documented, approved, and communicated.

         Partner with Training and HR stakeholders to ensure downstream impacts to processes, documentation, and user guidance are addressed.

         Define and maintain testing standards, including documentation, test scenarios, regression cycles, SME validation, and defect tracking.

         Ensure testing is planned, disciplined, and consistently executed for releases, enhancements, and break/fix work.

         Hold the team accountable for quality outcomes and system stability.

         Manage and direct external partners such as SAP, SuccessFactors, and thirdparty support providers to ensure highquality delivery and adherence to Perdue standards.

         Act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing clear guidance on system capabilities, risks, and tradeoffs.

         Ensure technical decisions are clearly explained and documented for nontechnical stakeholders.

Minimum Education and Experience

         10+ years of handson SAP SuccessFactors expertise.

         SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.

         Demonstrated experience leading SuccessFactors releases, testing cycles, and production deployments.

         Experience organizing technical teams and establishing repeatable processes.

         Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security, and compliance considerations.

Preferred Education and Experience

         Experience with additional SuccessFactors modules (Onboarding 2.0, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance and Goals, Succession).

         Experience operating in a postgolive, optimizationfocused HRIS environment.

         Familiarity with enterprise integrations and HR data analytics ecosystems.

         Experience in a complex, multisite, or manufacturing organization.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

         Officebased role with standard business hours.

         Occasional movement between buildings or departments.

         Ability to travel commercially to various sites, including flying and driving.

         Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
