Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify students' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the goals of the students and their families, ensuring to measure progress and adjust as necessary.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation workshops for students, parents, and school staff to promote mental health awareness and resilience.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with school psychologists, teachers, and administrative staff to develop interventions that support students in achieving both academic and emotional success.
  • Offer crisis intervention and safety planning when students exhibit high levels of distress or risk factors.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, using electronic health records.
  • Create and lead support groups tailored to various issues such as anxiety, grief, and peer relationships.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
