Job description:

Exodigo is seeking a Senior 3D BIM Modeler to support the development and delivery of complex, data-rich infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who combines strong Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) skills with excellent communication, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.

You’ll develop and coordinate 3D models and engineering drawings, perform detailed QC, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate technical questions, issues, and recommendations.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve & Support: Contribute to CAD/BIM standards, templates, QC procedures, and workflows across Autodesk and Bentley environments. Provide technical support and guidance to other modelers and designers.
  • Model & Coordinate: Develop and coordinate 3D models and engineering drawings using Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and MicroStation. Integrate survey, LiDAR, reality capture, GIS, design, and SUE data into accurate, coordinated deliverables.
  • QC & Problem Solve: Review drawings, models, surfaces, utility mapping, and project data to identify discrepancies, errors, and coordination issues. Apply sound technical judgment to resolve problems and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: Work with project managers, engineers, and clients to clearly explain technical information, modeling challenges, QC findings, and recommended solutions. Support project teams from data development through final delivery.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in CAD/BIM, civil design, surveying, utility mapping, or related infrastructure disciplines.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer (ORD); experience with both is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, construction documents, survey, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and utility data.
  • Excellent QA/QC and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to identify and communicate technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and technical teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, project management, CAD/BIM, GIS, and field teams.

Nice to Have

  • SUE, utility mapping, or civil engineering experience.
  • Experience with MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, ProjectWise, ACC, Revit, Navisworks, or ArcGIS Pro.
  • Experience with LiDAR, point clouds, reality capture, GIS, or subsurface mapping.
  • Experience developing CAD/BIM standards, templates, workflows, or QC procedures.
  • Familiarity with Python, Dynamo, or Bentley SDK for automation and workflow improvement.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000

Location: Remote within the U.S., with a preference for candidates located in Eastern Time Zone or on the East Coast.
