Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of children and adolescents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their developmental stages and family contexts.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, which may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to address a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers with the skills needed to cultivate a nurturing environment for their children.
  • Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience delivering individual and family therapy to young clients, showcasing a compassionate and child-centered approach.
