Mental Harmony Wellness Center Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specifically Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our outpatient psychiatric team located in Reno, Nevada. Work Environment

The therapist will work remotely, connecting with patients primarily through telehealth sessions, while also collaborating with on-site medical professionals in our outpatient office as needed. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. This flexibility allows therapists to maintain work-life balance while delivering essential services to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that effectively evaluate the impact of various medical conditions on patients’ psychological well-being.
• Design and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs to promote overall health.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the distinct needs of each patient.
• Engage in collaborative care with medical professionals, ensuring an interdisciplinary approach that optimizes treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating swift and effective decision-making skills.
• Educate patients about the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them with strategies to manage their conditions successfully.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient progress and interventions.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to shared decision-making regarding patient care.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of integrated care to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, primarily focusing on individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health and medical issues. This includes managing conditions like chronic pain syndromes, mental health disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety), and substance use challenges. Your role will involve developing sensitive therapeutic relationships and providing tailored interventions that foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing mental health needs of individuals with complex medical backgrounds.
• Experience providing integrated care and collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship building with patients and team members.
• Ability to uphold professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and establish appropriate boundaries within therapeutic settings.
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote communication technologies.
• A strong commitment to working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally within an integrated care model. Experience in working with chronic illness populations and substance use disorders is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
