Work Flexibility: Remote

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Surgical franchise within Stryker Sustainability Solutions. This individual will be responsible for driving the annual marketing strategy from development through execution while also leading new product launches. This role requires building strong relationships with customers and collaborating closely with the sales team to deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional product management skills, demonstrate strategic thinking, and effectively manage a direct report. Success in this position requires comfort in a fast-paced, competitive environment and the ability to balance multiple priorities with excellence.

In this role, you will be required to travel up to 30%, with some months being heavier than others based on trade show activity. This role will be remote.

  • Responsible for the product, program, or portfolio strategy.

  • Interpret the competitive landscape and incorporate insights into marketing strategy.

  • Author key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc.

  • Deploy resources to measure, monitor, and adjust marketing strategy to drive customer engagement.

  • Drive demand planning and forecasting while considering market, product, and other key factors.

  • Drive segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency.

  • Establish pricing strategy that aligns with overall business goals and P&L drivers.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 10+ years of work experience.

  • Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative market data, customer insights, VOC (Voice of Customer), market research, business analytics, competitive intelligence, and commercial performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.

  • Experience within healthcare, medical device, life sciences, healthcare technology, surgical products, capital equipment, hospital systems, operating room environments, clinical solutions, healthcare services, or related regulated industries.

  • Experience leading product lifecycle management, portfolio management, commercialization, new product development, go-to-market strategy, market positioning, product launches, and growth initiatives.

  • Experience developing and executing annual marketing plans, commercialization strategies, launch plans, strategic business plans, portfolio growth strategies, and customer engagement programs.

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • Experience in medical devices, surgical technologies, healthcare services, life sciences, diagnostics, or related healthcare industries.

  • Experience leading product lifecycle management, commercialization programs, and new product launches.

  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and leading strategic initiatives in matrixed organizations.

  • Experience with change management, business transformation, customer adoption strategies, and commercial excellence initiatives.

  • Prior people leadership, talent development, coaching, and team management experience.

  • Experience partnering with hospital systems, integrated delivery networks, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare decision-makers.
