Job description

Abacus Technology is seeking a Pricing Manager to provide competitive and cost analysis for proposal bids to government contracting opportunities.  This is a full-time position.


  • Develop the cost and pricing volume for proposal bids on government contracts. 
  • Collect and analyze competitive cost data through salary surveys, reviewing actual employee salaries, and contract rates. 
  • Develop bid strategies. 
  • Prepare cost models to demonstrate pricing strategy. 
  • Develop modeling templates to assist with future bids. 
  • Interact with prime or sub contractors to ensure pricing strategies are streamline among team members.

8+ years experience in developing cost proposals and/or financial operations.  Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field.  Experience developing cost/pricing volumes for IT services contracts at the federal government level.  Familiar with Federal government regulations relating to contracting such as FAR, DFAR, and CASB.  Experience working with the DCAA. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000-$145,000. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
