• Provide individual psychotherapy focused on addressing mental health concerns associated with substance abuse.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs and collaborate with clients to develop effective treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement tailored interventions for substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and share insights regarding patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources, fostering empowerment and self-efficacy.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research in substance abuse treatment and integrating findings into your practice.
• Manage a full caseload effectively while navigating treatment goals, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.

You will be working with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, each facing unique challenges related to substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering resilience and recovery in clients who may be experiencing comorbid mental health conditions alongside their substance abuse issues.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience focused specifically on substance abuse therapy.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining independent decision-making skills.

While not mandatory, prior experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting and familiarity with various mental health intervention frameworks will be advantageous. The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
