• Conduct initial assessments and evaluate clients' mental health status through comprehensive intake sessions.
• Formulate evidence-based, individualized treatment plans tailored to address each client's unique concerns and goals.
• Engage in regular follow-up sessions to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide continued therapeutic support.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, both in individual and group settings, focusing on fostering a safe space for personal growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Offer crisis intervention and support in high-stress situations, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, comprising individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. The ideal counselor will approach treatment with a cultural competence that recognizes and respects the varied backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, valid licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts is essential.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is mandatory.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and application of evidence-based therapy techniques is crucial.
• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methodologies.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging scenarios are expected.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Fluency in using electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms is advantageous.

• Experience in providing therapy through telehealth modalities is a plus.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Background in crisis management or emergency intervention situations enhances candidacy.
