Description
This position, as a Property Subrogation Manager, is responsible for ensuring that all subrogation regulations for the Property business are shared with the Recovery Team, and compliance is both understood and adhered to.
In addition to the general job description, this manager is also responsible for the management and technical file guidance of the Property Recovery Representatives as well as managing other Recovery Representatives as required.
Requirements

• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Audits - Conducts a minimum of two file audits utilizing the module created in SpartanRMS, per recovery representative each month
• Ongoing Training - Both individual and general team training as needs are recognized through the audit process
• Provides the initial technical training for new staff members both on or off-site when needed.
• Assists management with defining and implementing performance expectations on new and pending files.
• Assists management with the annual update of "Claim Handling Standards & Procedures Manual"
• Reviews & updates the Task Queue in conjunction with management to add any items where Claim Assistants can be of additional value to the recovery operation.
• Together with management, enforces total compliance to standards set.
• Works with management to re-train any staff moving from a clerical support role into a subrogation Property recovery position.
• Flexibility to travel to meet with current clients as well as developing relationships for new client via conferences such as NASP (National Association of Subrogation Professionals).
• Business Perspective - Ability to integrate an understanding of key internal and external factors (marketplace, expense control, operational productivity. Systems, product delivery) into specific activities that will achieve business objectives
• Able to establish an environment for encouragement & recognition of individual achievement and pursuit of excellence.
• People Selection/New Hires - Ability to assist in building the required workforce with capable employees whose knowledge and skills are appropriately matched to organizational requirements, and calculating and determining staffing levels.
• Providing client service by directing all general inquiries to the appropriate party(s) and ensuring inquiries are resolved
• Work with clients to expand relationships by offering them additional services, specifically services offered by Alacrity
• Participate in client strategic business calls as needed
• Developing new business opportunities in conjunction with VP Subrogation.

Required education and experience
