This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while supporting students in a school-based environment. Collaborating with school personnel, including educators and administrative staff, you will help create a safe and supportive atmosphere tailored to student needs. • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, addressing a range of psychological and emotional issues for students and their families.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems.
• Advocate vigorously for clients to help them connect with necessary resources, including academic support, financial aid, housing services, and other social support systems.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, including suicidal ideation and severe trauma responses.
• Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives, aimed at promoting mental wellness and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.
• Maintain meticulous records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other federal and state guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and receive mentorship to continually enhance clinical practice and personal effectiveness.

In this role, you will primarily serve students in a school setting, including elementary through high school age. This diverse population often grapples with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, family dynamics, and academic pressures. Your expertise will help empower these students and their families to navigate effectively through their circumstances, fostering resilience and promoting positive life choices.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is essential.
• Active Virginia License (LCSW) with the ability to practice independently without supervision.
• A commitment to providing a compassionate and culturally competent approach to client care.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy to individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with school staff and engage effectively with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities necessary for thorough documentation and client interaction.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience working within educational environments or with youth populations.
• Familiarity with therapeutic methodologies and frameworks, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or solution-focused therapy.
• Understanding of local community resources and systems to effectively assist clients.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
