• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources that inform their therapy.
• Provide individualized and family-focused therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop personalized treatment plans through a collaborative approach, setting clear therapeutic goals and interventions tailored to each client's needs.
• Lead both group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes, facilitating discussions that enhance therapeutic growth and community support among clients.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and well-integrated approach to clients' mental health care.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, conducting risk assessments and safety planning to ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring accountability and quality of care.
• Regularly attend team meetings and case consultations to improve professional practices and promote integrated care solutions.

The clients you will be serving at Mindful Menders Center include a diverse demographic consisting of individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to family dynamics and individual mental health.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in outpatient or mental health settings is preferred.
• Experience with various treatment approaches, particularly in trauma-informed care and family systems therapy, is advantageous.
