• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique preferences and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward positive mental health outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary communication with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mood disorder therapies to continuously enhance treatment methodologies.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards in all documentation and interactions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in the field.
• Actively advocate for clients' rights and needs, promoting a supportive and understanding environment.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proven ability to develop strong, trusting relationships with clients, showcased through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities to handle multiple clients and administrative duties efficiently.
