Position Summary:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in civil engineering and residential land development. This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in leadership, enjoys driving projects from concept through completion, and wants to play a key role in expanding a growing Arkansas presence.

You’ll lead the design and execution of residential communities—ranging from subdivisions to multi-family developments—while mentoring a team and building lasting relationships with developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Engineer of Record for residential land development projects
  • Lead design efforts including: Site layout and grading, Drainage and stormwater systems, Roadway and access design, Utility infrastructure (water, sewer, dry utilities)
  • Oversee preparation of construction documents, specifications, and permitting packages
  • Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and utility providers for approvals and entitlements
  • Act as the primary client contact, partnering with developers and builders
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers, EITs, and designers
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Support team growth, recruiting, and performance development
  • Collaborate with internal teams (structural, MEP, architecture) for seamless project delivery
  • Participate in business development, proposals, and client meetings

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in ARKANSAS (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • 5–15+ years of experience in residential land development
  • Strong knowledge of: Local zoning and subdivision regulations, Stormwater and drainage design, Utility design and coordination
  • Experience working with developers and homebuilders
  • Proven ability to lead projects and build client relationships
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
