Work EnvironmentRemote, telehealth settings, patient monitoringClinical labs, hospitals, testing centers
Employer & IndustryHealthcare providers, telehealth companiesHospitals, cardiology clinics, diagnostic labs

Remote Stress Test Nurses and Cardiac Stress Test Technicians both work in cardiac testing environments, but Remote Stress Test Nurses typically provide patient care and monitoring remotely, requiring nursing credentials. In contrast, Cardiac Stress Test Technicians perform the physical testing in clinical settings. The roles overlap in certification and industry usage, but differ mainly in work setting and responsibilities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Stress Test Nurse, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Stress Test Nurse, you need a solid background in cardiac nursing, experience with stress testing protocols, and an active RN license, often with ACLS certification. Familiarity with remote monitoring systems, EKG interpretation software, and secure telehealth platforms is crucial. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are valuable soft skills in this role. These competencies ensure accurate patient assessments, timely interventions, and high-quality care in a remote cardiac testing environment.

How do Remote Stress Test Nurses typically collaborate with on-site medical teams during patient assessments?

Remote Stress Test Nurses work closely with on-site healthcare staff by monitoring patients’ vitals and ECG data in real-time during cardiac stress tests. They communicate findings, relay urgent concerns, and offer guidance to on-site personnel via secure telehealth platforms or direct calls. This collaboration ensures patient safety and accurate test interpretation, even when the nurse isn't physically present. Building strong communication skills and familiarity with telehealth technology is key to successfully supporting the on-site team.

What is a Remote Stress Test Nurse?

A Remote Stress Test Nurse is a registered nurse who specializes in monitoring and assisting patients undergoing cardiac stress tests from a remote location. They use telemedicine technologies to observe patients' vital signs, communicate with the onsite clinical team, and ensure patient safety during exercise or pharmacological stress tests. This role allows healthcare facilities to provide specialized cardiac care even when a nurse cannot be physically present, improving access and efficiency in cardiac diagnostics.

UAS Test Pilot

Flock

Atlanta, GA • Remote

$65K - $90K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 17 days ago

Job description

The Problem

As Flock accelerates the deployment of Drone as First Responder systems, operational reliability and performance under diverse flight conditions are essential to support real-time public safety operations. Rigorously testing hardware integrations and evaluating custom flight behavior requires dedicated flight leadership in the field. You will pilot test flights, troubleshoot physical and system performance, and evaluate raw flight data so our airborne platforms operate with absolute precision.

What You'll Own
  • Serve as Pilot in Command for experimental UAS flight testing, field evaluations, and mission simulations across varied weather conditions.

  • Evaluate aircraft performance, hardware stability, and software integration during active test routines.

  • Perform physical diagnostics, system troubleshooting, and post-flight evaluations on complex drone hardware and software systems.

  • Document flight metrics, maintain precise flight logs, and deliver technical write-ups to engineering teams.

  • Partner with technical stakeholders to refine flight testing procedures and implement risk management standards.

What This Role is Not
  • This isn't a desk-bound or purely simulated testing role, you'll be outdoors in field operations over 70% of the time.

  • This is not a routine commercial piloting job, you'll actively test experimental systems, diagnose hardware issues, and stress-test custom UAV technology.

  • This isn't a remote position, you will be on-site at our facilities in Atlanta with up to 25% domestic travel.

What You Bring
  • Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and a thorough understanding of FAA regulations and safety protocols.

  • Practical flight experience as a pilot in command, specifically within experimental UAS development and diverse multirotor or fixed-wing platforms.

  • Hands-on proficiency in drone diagnostics, troubleshooting physical hardware, and assessing software interactions during flight.

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods during outdoor field testing and lift up to 55 lbs of operational hardware and gear.

  • Clear communication skills to translate complex flight anomalies and data into actionable engineering reports.

  • Experience with custom flight control systems or experimental aircraft telemetry is a plus.

Compensation

In this role, you'll receive a starting salary between $65,000 and $95,000 as well as Flock Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in depth with you during our first chat.
