Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing our counselors to work from their preferred location. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide compassionate individual counseling remotely through video chat.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the needs of each client.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific mental health concerns and goals.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly assess client progress, adapt treatment strategies as necessary, and support clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms.
• Maintain high ethical standards in all counseling interactions to foster trust and rapport.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present a diverse range of mental health needs, from anxiety and depression to life transitions and relationship issues. Our aim is to assist clients in developing the essential skills necessary to enhance their overall quality of life. By providing tailored counseling services, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field: such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or licensed psychologist) permitting independent practice. Supervisory support is not available.
• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates should not have any disciplinary actions against their licenses.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients, paired with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Proficient computer skills, with a reliable internet connection and a computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities for conducting virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with experience using online therapy platforms and familiarity with telehealth best practices.
