Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Manager, Strategy & Advisory will support product and services engagements from an enablement perspective, from contract signature to successful delivery of the project in terms of scope, deliverables, budget, client satisfaction, and achievement of required business outcomes. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work as part of a core team serving clients, including the Senior Advisors, Solution Architects, Engagement/Managing Directors, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Program/Project Managers and Associates.
  • Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business and technology issues from establishment of strategic objectives and key results for initiatives, development of and approach for programs in alignment with business goals, to leading the delivery of these business-driven technology engagements.
  • Assist in establishing milestones, monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, and identification of program problems and obtain solutions.
  • Managing decision process/requirements based on goals and success measures.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues.
  • Responsible for the authorship of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinate financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Responsible for client relationships and networks, presenting to broad audiences, and work day-to-day with clients.
  • Provide effective and impactful communication of issues and solutions, in formal and informal settings, through written and verbal communication.
  • Lead engagements involving complex analysis and problem-solving including problem structuring, analytical techniques, synthesis, and client impact.
  • Accountable for Program Outcomes, and contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
  • Manage and develop junior consulting team members.
  • Responsible for opportunity generation and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS & INTERESTS: 

  • A minimum of five (5) years of business and technology management experience, in a Professional Services environment.
  • End to end experience with the SDLC process is required. Experience with Managed Services a nice-to-have.
  • Proven experience leading programs with small to medium sized organizations.
  • Strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams with diverse points of view.
  • Interest in gaining functional/technical experience with Networking, Security, Cloud, and Data/Analytics solution planning and execution in traditional and modern infrastructure environments.
  • Healthcare or related relevant operational/functional/data domain and/or technical experience, to drive Digital Transformation (secure, compliant Digital and Data/Analytics) engagement planning and execution across healthcare segments and across healthcare business units/functions, applications (traditional COTs and cloud-native solutions), and infrastructure environments (hybrid on-prem/cloud and multi-cloud).
  • Understanding of key regulatory considerations and solution implications for Healthcare Industry payers, providers, or life sciences; and breadth across industries, is also attractive.
  • Teamwork & collaboration; willingness to be a team player and be invested in the success of the team.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional teams, including engineering teams or technical staff, in a project execution capacity.
