The opportunity
The Marketing Technology Automation Manager will use marketing technology and engagement strategies to focus on optimizing student and prospect communications and improving student success through marketing automation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will collaborate with internal partners to provide technical guidance and strategic insights to improve processes and streamline operations. As a subject matter expert, you will improve the customer experience and promote a culture of learning, and growth within the team. You will report to the Director Marketing Automation. #LI-Remote
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand their challenges and project requirements. Use insights to adapt and support student/prospect communications, with a focus on optimizing the student experience through relevance and personalization. Ensure the compatibility of applicable components for efficient operation and seamless integration within the marketing tech stack.
  • Review marketing systems and operations to identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to enhancements that support efficiency and streamlined daily work.
  • Advance previously identified marketing automation initiatives, prioritizing work that improves student engagement and success.
  • Apply hands-on experience in Journey development, automations, and SQL. Offer technical support and promote a cooperative environment toward the successful completion of projects.
  • Verify and test the scalability and longevity of solutions, using an approach focused on identifying and addressing potential issues early. Monitor solutions and perform necessary maintenance operations for any related solutions.
  • Document operationalization instructions, design specifications, and other related information. Maintain comprehensive records to support effective future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Foster learning and growth within the team. Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, to help promote a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
  • Improve the student experience through the strategic use of marketing technology and engagement strategies.
  • Manage continued adoption of Marketing Cloud and other tools within our marketing technology stack, ensuring that the platform remains an important tool in the marketing strategy.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience, to include developing journeys
  • 5+ years of experience managing marketing technology solutions such as system integrations and journeys
  • 3+ years of CRM experience
  • 5+ years of experience coding email and landing pages through use of HTML, SQL, & Ampscript
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of APIs and coding languages like JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of dependencies across complex systems

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $77,794.00 - $124,491.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $85,961.00 - $116,299.00.
